Wine Education/Tasting with Sommelier George Staikos
** Second Of Our Three Part Series - SOUTH AMERICAN WINES**
Join Winemaker Thomas Nye and noted Sommelier George Staikos at The Grape Escape on January 14 at 4:00 PM. The second in a series of tastings, we will explore Great South American Wines specifically chosen by George Staikos for the tasting. Using his years of experience working for some of the finest wineries in the world (including my favorite, Quintessa), Mr. Staikos will hand select the six South American wines that best represent that region.
The new Wine Education Series at The Grape Escape is a great way to learn more about regions, specific varietals and to take the mystery out of wine knowledge. You will learn the following:
Along with the South American wines, we will be serving empanadas matched with the wines. The cost is $85 a person or $160 for a couple. To purchase tickets, please click below:
Come see what everyone is talking about! The Grape Escape is a working winery that invites you participate in the winemaking process.
